Diving:

Located just a few minutes from some of the best dive sites in North and South Ari Atoll, Kandolhu is a favourite among Maldives diving resorts, offers three dives each day, two in the morning and one in the afternoon, on board a Maldivian dhoni. Night dives, half day and full day trips are also organized regularly. The Dive School offers PADI and SSI certified courses for beginners as well as some amazing adventures for experienced divers.

Watersports:

A wide range of non-motorised water sports are offered on Kandolhu ranging from windsurf, stand-up paddle board, catamaran sailing, sail boat, kayaks and glass-bottomed kayaks. All of these water sports in Maldives are offered to Kandolhu guests on complimentary basis by prior reservation. Sailing, excursions, and windsurf and sailing lessons are also available at extra charge.

Snorkeling in the Maldives is a must and Kandolhu house reef offers one of the best snorkeling experiences in this part of the country. Easily accessible from the surface, the house reef is set right around the island providing for hours of snorkeling adventures. Kandolhu offers complimentary snorkeling gear for all its guests. Additional snorkeling trips are also organised to other nearby reefs on regular basis at extra charge.

Ocean Pool Villa - Facing the sunset, the Ocean Pool Villa offers the best experience at Kandolhu. This lavish Maldives water villa  includes an oversized bedroom with king bed, day bed and walk-in wardrobe. The bathroom of these villas are open and airy with shower, twin vanity and a bathtub, and features a sliding door which opens up to the outdoor deck. The expansive and completely private deck includes sun loungers, sun umbrella and a plunge pool (7 sqm) and infinite views of the Indian Ocean.

Children older than 6 years are welcome. The property is more appropriate for adults.  Due to the small size of the island, and in order to maintain an intimate environment on Kandolhu, Kandolhu accepts children, who are at least 6 years and above.

Currency:

The hotel accepts different kinds of currencies. US Dollar is the referred currency all over the Maldives but the hotel do accept Euros, Sterling Pound and Swiss Francs as well.

Dresscode: 

However we do ask that swimwear is covered when dining in the restaurants, visiting reception or in the bars in the evening. As the Maldives is a strict Muslim country, topless sunbathing is not permitted.

Olive -  Set on a higher level. Olive offers panoramic views of the ocean. Modern Mediterranean delicacies are the highlight of this open air gastronomic restaurant.

The Market - Located facing the ocean. The Market is an all-day dining a la carte restaurant which restaurant which serves international and local specialties in a relaxed ambiance. Select items are served on a small buffet during breakfast along with hot a la carte items prepared to order.

Banzai - Discover the art of Japanese cuisine at Banzai. Choose from flavoursome sushi to succulent sashimi or meat and seafood grilled to perfection on the teppan. All to be enjoyed under a canopy of the starlit night sky.

Sea Grill - Set right on the beach. The Sea Grill opens as the sun sets over the island. You can savour Indian Ocean creations- sizzling meat or indulge in freshly caught seafood served from the grill.

Ata Roa - Where Mexico and Peru meet the equator line in the Maldives. Presenting a light lunch with tacos and ceviches and pisco and mezcal craft cocktails. Coupled with sea breeze and a feel good vibe.

Transfers are organised by seaplane during daylight hours by Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA).

The Airport Hosts will greet you on arrival, check you in for your seaplane, which is a combined flight, and escort you to the terminal featuring a dedicated Lounge for you to relax in whilst you wait for your flight.

Refreshments and complimentary internet access are offered here. Soon you will embark on your 25 minute seaplane ride that offers an unforgettable bird’s eye view en route to this Island resort in Maldives.
