Restaurants

The two “Gault Millau” awarded gourmet restaurants “Anna Sacher” and “Rote Bar” offer outstanding culinary delights. On the one hand the “Anna Sacher”, named after the iconic Anna Sacher, who owned and managed the Hotel Sacher in Vienna after her husband’s passing. The restaurant provides a “once in a lifetime” atmosphere. For dinner, guests can not only enjoy the award-winning cuisine from Executive Chef Dominik Stolzer but can also admire the country´s largest collection of Anton Faistauer paintings, a very important 20^th century Austrian painter. Another highlight of the restaurant are the Monarchy´s very first electrified chandeliers. One the other hand the restaurant “Rote Bar”, which offers authentic Viennese cuisine with live piano music and Opera views.

The Café Sacher Wien provides the ideal setting for getting to know the typical atmosphere of Austrian coffee house culture - and, of course, to spoil yourself with a piece of original Sacher cake.

Sacher Eck

With a wonderful view of Kärntner Straße and the Vienna State Opera, coffee and chocolate in the new Sacher Eck are taken to a new level - not only in the proverbial sense, because the culinary experience spans two levels in unmistakable and cozy Sacher style. Here, in addition to the unique specialty of the house, the original Sacher cake, other exquisite original Sacher products and hearty delicacies by chef Dominik Stolzer, while passionate baristas prepare the incomparable Viennese coffee variety.

Public transport

Vienna International Airport (VIE) can be reached by public transport such as S-Bahn and CAT, by taxi and of course by our exclusive limousine transfer. If you arrive by train, you will find the U-Bahn station "Karlsplatz, Oper" of the lines U1, U2 and U4, bus stops "Kärntnerstraße" (2A) and "Karlsplatz" (4A) as well as the trams. Stop "Kärntner Ring, Oper" lines D, 1, 2, 62, 71 and WLB in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

By car

Benefit from the excellent transport links of our house in the city center - the Hotel Sacher Wien is easy to reach by car. All motorways are well signposted and the way through the city to the hotel in Vienna center easy to find.
